Lost and Found

The Airports Authority’s Security handles lost items. They may contacted at the entrance to the international departure lounge. You may contact them by dialing 649-246-9775 or sending an email to [email protected].

Paging

To request a page, simply speak to any Airport Security Officer or airline representative in the check-in area.

Tourist Information Counter

The Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board operates Tourist Information Counter in the international arrivals baggage claim area. The counter is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, 365 days a year. Services provided include:

  • Airport and tourist information
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Assisting with ground transportation

Tours

Tours of Providenciales Airport are offered to school children, to diversified groups, professional groups, and other groups with special interests. For details, contact the Terminal Manager by dialing 649-946-4420.

ATMs / Bank

There is no full service Bank located at the airport, however, there are two ATM terminals. One located in the international check-in area, and the other just outside the international arrival hall.

Currency Exchange

There is no foreign currency exchange booths available at the airport. There are three commercial banks withing 10 minutes driving of the airport, CIBC, Royal bank of Canada and Scotia Bank.

Food / Dining

There is one restaurant, Gilley’s Cafe, located in the terminal building. Several snackettes and bars are located in the international departure lounge.

Hotel

Airport Inn, located within 2 minutes driving from the airport, offers travelers the convenience of an airport location, 25 rooms and fine dining. For more hotel information, call (649) 946-4701.

Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi service by FLOW is available in the international departure lounge.

Language Assistance

There is no official language assistance service, however some airline staff may be of assistance with Spanish, French and Creole.

Rental Cars

Rental Car agents are available outside the international arrivals hall.

Luggage Carts

Within the domestic terminal, carts are provided free of charge to arriving passengers, and carts are available to international passengers for a fee. As an option, Skycap service is available for departing passengers.

Shopping

There are a variety of duty-free shops offering an assortment of merchandise ranging from jewelry to wines and spirits, and island craft. All the shops are located within the international departure lounge.

Traveling with Pets

There is no animal relief area at the airport.

You must obtain approval before attempting to bring any animal into the Turks and Caicos Islands. You are advised to complete this process with the Agriculture Department and receive your Import Permit at least two weeks before travel.

VIP clubs and Lounges

There is a VIP lounge available to departing and arriving passengers. For more information, call 649-946-4000.

Money Transfer

There are no money transfer agents at the airport, however, Western Union and MoneyGram are located withing 5 minutes driving of the airport.

Wheelchair Service

Courtesy wheelchair service is offered through the air carriers upon request. To make sure a wheelchair is available at the proper time, it is best to reserve one in advance of your flight departure or arrival by contacting your airline. Wheelchair assistance may also be requested at airline ticket counters.
